A little about me…
I’m a Solutions Architect navigating the world of tech after a career move in 2020 and sharing my learning as I go.
Alongside my career, I volunteer as a AWS Community Builder working to encourage users into cloud learning and a Mental Health Advocate working with organisations to improve workplace wellbeing.
I created a Twitter Spaces series called #TechTable where I interviewed some of my favourite people in tech – asking them all the questions you’re too afraid to ask.
I hope you join me as I reflect on the personal and professional experiences that have led me to where I am today and topics that interest me. I’ll also be talking to some of the people who got me here, who’ve experienced similar changes in their lives, and want to share their learning.
On this site I, and those I interview, may talk openly about mental health issues and topics related to recovery. I am speaking from my lived experience and research but am not a medical professional.
If you identify with any of the thoughts shared on my site and feel you would like to talk to someone, please reach out to your GP, contact Mind, or the Anxiety UK helpline. And if you ever feel like things are too much, please call Samaritans on 116 123 💚
If you’d like to talk about how to make your workplace more supportive, healthy and happy – please reach out. I have with experience working to de-stigmatise mental health conversations in the workplace through workshops and speaking events, and contributing to company mental health policies with central HR teams.
